Holiday offers are one of the best selling triggers

One of the best occasions to not miss are holiday sales. Everybody knows that in that period, every online store sells much more than during regular period. What you may not know is that fact that in December, more ecommerce websites sell as much as in the rest of the year!!! Imagine that!

That is why whenever you have some holidays coming, you need to be prepared and don’t miss them since you miss a lot of sales and you miss money in your pocket!

You need to prepare these periods very careful so when time comes to have the best possible offer and get as many clients as possible! It is that simple!

In that part of the year people are more willing to spend their money shopping and you need to have a good offer to make them, since if they don’t buy from you they will go somewhere else and we don’t want that, right?

In order to create holiday’s spirit, so your visitor become a customer, you need to make your ecommerce site match the holiday so dress up your site properly for the big day! If it’s about Christmas, put up some candles, some images with Santa Claus, or some religious images with Holly Mary and baby Jesus, you will think of something. Also some snow won’t hurt, trust me! If it is about Easter, bring some bunnies, some Easter eggs, etc.

One of the worse things to do after the holidays is to let the ornaments on too long after the holiday is gone, this will only give a feeling of a website that has not a day to day activity so why buy from you? So, as soon as the holiday is over, be sure to remove any ornaments, or at least make a change so people know you are there to watch over your online business!

Also, if you have an offer for holidays make sure you remove it after the holiday is gone because an offer is an offer as long as it has a well determined period of time, otherwise the effect will be gone. If you make a discount for the given period, people will buy because the period will soon be over. If you set a discount without a given period, for a specific reason but you don’t set a specific end date, people will probably not buy because they will know the offer will always be there.
