A few days ago I asked myself if I have enough orientation on the market with ecommerce website templates. Do I offer enough to people visiting my site? Can I give more than this? Well, the fact is that there is a quite large offer. When starting this website, it was intended to be an online niche store selling niche products. My colleague asked me ok, where is the niche here, because there is a wide audience for this. Well, it may be so, but I don’t offer any website layouts, only ecommerce website templates, right? Here’s the niche!! Yes, but you don’t sell only, let’s say, music ecommerce website templates, or jewelry osCommerce templates! No, you sell general e-commerce layouts, where’s the niche?
Maybe my colleague was right, maybe there is not a very narrow niche, but all for the good, if you think about it! This way I can serve more people and I can offer the possibility to have a good online store in minutes with a good e-commerce templates. Some are free on this site, other have a price, but a very good one! Consider how much designers worked for putting up a nice CRE Loaded template, for example, in order to give it free. Maybe they have spent days tweaking a template, adding features, moving things around! An e-commerce web template is not a simple thing to do, a lot of work is involved and a lot of skills, starting with design and ending with business knowledge, that is why it is difficult to find free ecommerce templates because people don’t find it easy to give them for free after they have spent countless hours developing them.
