These days I have seen that a lot of people get more and more interested in e-commerce web sites. I think we are living again the explosion of .com, just that at this moment we have what it takes.
Back then, a few years ago when .com crash happened, I think that people over-evaluated technical possibilities that the internet was offering and put too much weight on what just started at that moment. It was not the moment for all those business opportunities, in my opinion.
Now, the internet is much better, offering connection speeds that we have never dared to dream of a few years ago, so now the infrastructure is much stronger and able to sustain the development of e-commerce platforms. Also, the fact that payment operators offer now a much better protection to fraud give customers again a much better trust in online operators and e-commerce web sites.
That is why I think we are facing a 2nd growing of e-commerce environment, in my opinion, the 2.0 in the online environment comes from the fact that we are currently facing the second bloom of e-commerce!
